Message #02622
[Bug 591817] [NEW] Showing all tasks is slow
Public bug reported:
Database: ~300 tasks, some of them are dependencies of multiple tasks
(at least 3 copies of taskset represented in an attached image) -- this
made 0.2.4 display as much as 2k-3k tasks in the task view window.
Steps:
1. Start `gtg` with profiling
2. Disable all filters (make `gtg` show all tasks)
3. Close `gtg`.
Results from current trunk (rev 793) attached (stdout, stderr and
profiler database). It takes about 20 seconds to show all tasks (this is
Thinkpad X61 notebook).
** Affects: gtg
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
