I have a StatusNet cloud site in which I've increased the character
limit to 420. Gwibber seems to assume that because it's StatusNet it's
140. I believe the actual limit is discoverable via the API since the
official StatusNet Desktop client finds the correct value when
connecting to my site for the first time.
