This was caused by filtering holland's stderr/stdout output through the
logging framework.   This has been fixed here:

backup/holland/commit/aed4770a581f66bb797d14b3e667c4a71bdd8f75

Now we just emit stdout/stderr normally:

# holland -v

Bug description:
  Holland's available commands list when running 'holland -v' is
  prefixed by timestamps found in the holland.log which looks a bit out
  of place compared to the other Holland command-line options:
