I had a few problems that others were facing. Hugin didn't work in 2000,
so I installed XP. Then the images weren't aligning, no matter what
control point detector I used, and if I entered them manually then it
wouldn't stitch and would complain about not finding chcp.

I never had a copy of chcp, I copied one from someone else's computer,
and these problems are now fixed for me.

But why should a program like hugin rely on an external program like
chcp.com? Especially if all it does is state a codepage. Are you able to
stop this dependency?
