Re: Problem with a Pavalion Dv6-3031ss

 

I have basically the same laptop (HP with ATI card) and I get the same results. VGA switcheroo fails and I can't generate a DSDT.dat - segmentation fault. 

It looks like most of the focus has been on nVidea cards. 

HP doesn't (and won't) support a switch in the BIOS. The ATI card performs very well under Windoze and should rock under Linux - if only it could work. I'm happy to help if I can.
