Problem with Toshiba Satellite Satellite-A665 nvidia 310M
Hello,
Above all received a cordial greeting, this is to ask for your support
and offer my computer for evidence related to developments in Linux
hybridCard. The characteristics of my team are:
ziur@ziur-Satellite-A665:~$ sudo dmidecode -s system-product-name
Satellite A665
ziur@ziur-Satellite-A665:~$ sudo dmidecode -s system-version
PSAW3U-06J001
ziur@ziur-Satellite-A665:~$ lspci -vnnn | perl -lne 'print if
/^\d+\:.+(\[\S+\:\S+\])/' | grep VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Core
Processor Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:0046] (rev 02) (prog-if
00 [VGA controller])
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: nVidia Corporation GT218
[GeForce 310M] [10de:0a70] (rev a2) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
I mention quickly what I tried to do, basically anything related to the
configuration of xorg.conf and both proprietary driver (nvidia) and free
(nouveau), reaching a stalemate where is the black pantallaso and will
not start X.At this point was where I got your work and am willing to
lend my collaboration.
In principle I want to run the video card in linux and work together to
try with my computer. Please indicate who should perform to start.
Saludos,
Carlos Ruiz.
