Sandy Bridge is already supported in Natty as of Alpha 2. Though
there are some issues with graphics, I believe it is only under
certain circumstances that most users won't experience. See
http://askubuntu.com/questions/22237/when-will-we-get-sandy-bridge-support.
I would wait for Alpha 3 if I were you just to ensure you get all the
fixes since Alpha 2. I've been using 11.04 since before Alpha 1 and
it keeps getting better.
