I'm in the same situation, I own a Vostro 3500, although I got a
"works!" message in the acpi_call mudule test.off script, got a crash in
a few minutes after I ran that. Is a good way to keep the info together
and have a summary of the work done. I'm interested on participate and
give my own experience to others if i'm able to.
