Honestly, in my opinion adding php52 for el6 would just be enabling people to never update their code. If you can't run on the latest php... Then you shouldn't be running the latest OS. El5 is still going to be around a while. At least long enough for everyone in the world to become 5.3 compatible. For That reason I don't see why hacking it into el6 is desirable.
