Thanks for taking the time to contact IUS regarding this concern.
Looking at the latest version of php53u-fpm, I do not see a xml
formatted configuration file.

Bug description:
  I  found php-fpm.conf in php53u using old (xml) format.  It's must be
  new (ini) format.

  Please check in php54 and php55u also.
