Tested and worked for me.

TEST CASE:
1. Installed package and loaded kernel module microcode, AMD microcode loaded as expected.
2. update-initramfs worked as expected.
3. System reboot, no unexpected results.

VERIFICATION DONE
No issues with test above. System is stable without unexpected lock-ups under high load.

  The ucode used to be available here:
  http://www.amd64.org/support/microcode.html before the site went down
  last year.

  This AMD ucode fixes some severe lockup issues on AMD family 15h CPUs when under high load.
  The fix for erratum #759 being the most severe.
