Message #114487
[Bug 1449078] [NEW] System crashed, monitor showed white screen with dark pinstripes, guesstimate 1px wide.
Public bug reported:
I had been receiving update installation failures for several weeks, but nothing came of them.
since this is not a production machine, I didn't worry about it.
I was given the option to report the bug, and did, or at least I think I did.
This time, over the weekend, something happened to cause the system to hang in the above referenced state.
I'm not sure if this is a legitimate bug, or just a one off due to my specific hardware/software config.
I'm not a linux guru by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm willing
to help if you need more information.
