Hi,

I've installed Ubuntu 15.4 on an Asus X302LJ laptop it everything is
working fine except that the touch pad is not recognized. Unfortunately
I was not able to obtain the model of the touch pad, but I'm going to
attach the following files:

dmesg > ~/dmesg
cat /proc/bus/input/devices > ~/devices
/var/log/Xorg.0.log
sudo lshw > ~/lshw

I have already tried a couple of things to solve the problem, but none of the following helped:
1. Installed http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.1-rc2-vivid/
2. Tried to add kernel parameter psmouse.proto=bare
