[Bug 1468797] [NEW] [SKL] starting xterm crashes the xserver

Public bug reported:

It was observed that running certain apps (xterm, amdcccle) crash the
xserver on Skylake. Rough bisect showed that 4.1-rc6 was ok while rc5
wasn't, and git bisect found the fixing commit:

commit 061cc3ab4c7b8ed235466134a00b9531766f6c1a
Author: Ingo Molnar <mingo@xxxxxxxxxx>
Date: Wed May 20 11:45:30 2015 +0200

x86/fpu: Disable XSAVES* support for now

while it's also cc'd to stable@, it's needed in the vivid kernel now to
make the (backport) kernel deadline for 14.04.3.
