Title:
ubuntu couldn't detect nvidia graphic card

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Dear all,

I am pretty new to linux system. Recently I am trying to install
Nvidia's Cuda framework, which requires the Nvidia's graphic card.

I have tried several solutions described in many posts, like:
  http://askubuntu.com/questions/519372/ubuntu-and-asus-g750jm-gtx860m-nvidia-problems,
  http://askubuntu.com/questions/162639/how-do-i-get-ubuntu-to-recognize-my-nvidia-graphics-card,
  http://askubuntu.com/questions/523528/why-does-ubuntu-14-04-not-recognize-nvidia-geforce-310m-hardware,
and several else. Unfortunately none of them works for me.

My problem here is even trickier than most of the posts, because my
system can't recognize the model of my graphic card:
