Tested 4.5rc6 and found no evidence of the regression. Regression is
also fixed in the most recent 4.4 releases.

  Trackpad no longer works on kernel 4.4 series

  Trackpad on Acer Aspire E 15 (E5-511-P6VU) stops working after
  upgrading from 4.3 kernel to 4.4. Keyboard still functions, but
  trackpad neither moves mouse nor responds to clicks/taps.
