Title:
  Touchpad not working

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Model: Inspiron 5547
  Manufacturer

  After the engineer replaced the touchpad, it works in windows and even in system diagnostics but not in ubuntu( either installed or from pendrive). In cat /proc/bus/input/devices, it lists the touchpad, but does not recognize it.
