[Bug 1311382] Re: Ubuntu 14.04 does not mount MTP devices
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.15 kernel[0].
If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.
If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.
If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed".
Thanks in advance.

Title:
Ubuntu 14.04 does not mount MTP devices
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
After upgrading my ubuntu from 13.10 to 14.04 LTS, I cannot mount my
Nexus 4 (Android 4.4.2) using MTP.
As soon as I plug the device in any USB port, I get the following
error message: "Unhandled error message: No such interface
'org.gtk.vfs.Mount' on object at path /org/gtk/vfs/mount/1"
Yesterday, before the upgrade, I had to just plug the USB cable and
the device was mounted automatically just like a pen-drive.
Please, somebody take a look on this issue.
