Re: [Bug 1311382] Re: Ubuntu 14.04 does not mount MTP devices

Hello, Joseph, good afternoon.

I will make a test with this kernel tonight. I can't do it right now,
because I'm at work. Although I'm a developer, I've never installed
different kernels in my machine before, so it is possible that I have some
difficulty. Is there some readme or something that may guide me through the
process of installing this new kernel?

I want to contribute, but I may need some help.

Best regards,

Raphael Ernani

Title:
Ubuntu 14.04 does not mount MTP devices

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
After upgrading my ubuntu from 13.10 to 14.04 LTS, I cannot mount my
Nexus 4 (Android 4.4.2) using MTP.

As soon as I plug the device in any USB port, I get the following
error message: "Unhandled error message: No such interface
'org.gtk.vfs.Mount' on object at path /org/gtk/vfs/mount/1"

Yesterday, before the upgrade, I had to just plug the USB cable and
the device was mounted automatically just like a pen-drive.

Please, somebody take a look on this issue.
