I don't know if wxWidgets support this kind of context, but to tell the
True, from my point of view (I mean, the point of view of the French
translator), when this issue arises, it is mainly due the fact the label
menu is too short (therefore ambiguous), or the sentence is not
correctly built in Kicad (for instance not using a "Printf" syntax, but
using a code like message << "x" << "y" << "x" which is never
translatable ).

Therefore, in all cases, it is due to an incorrect code.

I always prefer fix an issue than find a workaround.

So, at least for a first approach, send us where these issues are found.
I am pretty sure they can be fixed correctly.

(By the way, I do not understand the issue about clashing hotkeys:
The double 'p' "hotkey" (p is not a "hotkey" in this case) in the
Pl_Editor file menu does not create any issue because these shortcuts
are not in the same menu list )
