I mentioned in another thread that I regularly use Kicad on an Early 2008 Core2Duo 20” iMac with 4 GB RAM. That machine runs 10.11, too. The machine’s main display is the built-in 1680 x 1050, and it’s connected to a 22” 1920 x 1200 display. Works like a champ.
