Re: [PATCH] Footprint Wizards Update

 

Thanks JP, sorry I didn't see any of these messages, blame timezones!

One addition I'd like to see is an import error message if a particular
script is bad.

Previously if there was an error in any footprint script, KiCad would halt
the import process and no subsequent scripts would be imported.

I changed this with a simple try/except clause and any bad scripts are
silently dropped. I could not work out how to pass an error message back to
the UI from the import script.
