Please embed them. Users now always forget to include the cache lib in 
backups or archives all the time. What makes you think this will be 
different in the future?
(You would need a project local lib with the asset in the state of the 
project anyways. This is to ensure against changes in the library. So 
you do not save on storage space in any way and only increase the danger 
that users do not include these additional files in backups.)
