Yes, folk that have crossed the learning curve for Debian packaging are
very command line driven - I am myself.

I think its very important that we /end up/ able to do
'bzr $something' and cause a package to build.

In the simplest case thats 'change an official packaging branch, woo a
new package version in Ubuntu'. I say 'simplest case' here because we
have all the metadata already, there is no question of merging other
branches.

However, many upstreams will be much less familiar with the toolchain
and I believe we can offer a discoverable and pleasant web UI to do a
number of common things like 'build a package with a bugfix', 'build
dailies'. And we hope these things will build new communities of folk
more skilled in the upstream code and less aware of the intricacies of
dpkg packaging.

Our focus for now though, daily builds, needs the web ui, recipe
building in launchpad etc. Hopefully we can give the folk wanting a more
command line feel to it something along the way - or otherwise as a
small project after we deliver the daily build support.
