So that it's familiar when I come across it later.  I might run the
pretty-printer before committing, if I had the option, so that we don't
end up with its spurious changes in the annotation history.

Also, sometimes there's more than one way to skin a cat.  Fixing long
lines, for example.  So I might want to do that by hand to make it cleaner.
