I've had a quick look through the TODO file and I reckon that we are very
close to what I would consider a usable 0.1 release to put on a live
vserver.

Here are the things that I want to get done before then:

- support for on-the-fly resizing of images using the "s" URL parameter
- add https support in DNS, in the resolver and in mod_rewrite
- password reset by email (with an expiring secret key)
- URL, Twitter and Launchpad image manual importers
- terms & condition checkbox when uploading/importing images
- choosing a license when uploading/importing images

Also of great importance:

- finish the StatusNet plugin with full delegation support

so that we can demo Libravatar used in a real-life application :)

And two "nice to have":

- gallery of built-in GPL-licensed images
- internationalization (/me will volunteer an French translation!)
