Title:
Gnome Do does not launch the applications after switching users
Status in Do:
Expired
Bug description:
I have noticed that recent updates to Gnome Do have become less
stable. Specifically, I am noticing that Gnome Do stops launching my
applications when I hit enter, even though Gnome Do has not frozen.
It usually happens when I have switched to my user session after other
users have been using the same computer. For example, my wife and I
frequently switch accounts without logging out. Sometimes, not all
the time, when I come back to my account, Gnome Do no longer launches
the applications I want. I hit super+space, Gnome Do comes up, I type
the application, it finds it, I hit enter, then nothing happens.
I found two processes of Gnome Do running. They have slightly
different icons under the system monitor. One is taking 730MB of
memory! The other only 64KB. Killing the large one, also killed the
other. When I re-run Gnome Do, only one process is launched, it only
takes 64KB of memory, and works correctly.
