[Bug 952873] [NEW] MythTV-Setup crashes with segfault when scanning for channels

Public bug reported:

When running mythtv-setup and performing a channel scan, the scan
appears to near the end of completion, then mythtv-setup crashes. I am
therefore unable scan for channels.

Some info on my system:
Ubuntu 10.04.4 x86_64
MythTV installed from MythBuntu repositories
MythTV Version   : v0.24.2-24-gcd8c9c2
MythTV Branch    : fixes/0.24
Network Protocol : 63
Library API      : 0.24.20110505-1
QT Version       : 4.6.2
Options compiled in:

This is an 'established' system - i.e. it's not a new setup - I was able
to successfully scan using all the same hardware when I originally set
the system up.
