Enabling the 'partner repository' will allow you to install Adobe Flash Player.
What problem do you have with sound?
Don’t own an iPod so, no idea.
Never had a problem installing Opera, either by downloading the .deb or using Opera’s repositories. Did you follow the instructions in the previous your previous thread?
