I also have a problem with the current ISO image.  The installation
gives the appearance of succeeding but when the system is booted, the
graphics are not activated and login is offered via a text prompt:

	precise-alternate-powerpc.iso         27-Feb-2012 23:37  653M
	Alternate install CD for Mac (PowerPC) and IBM-PPC (POWER5)
	computers (standard download)

	http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/daily/current/

It appears that the meta package lubuntu-desktop does not get installed.

This is on a PowerBook G4.
