Not sure I am late for my request but would like to see the option to have the autologin feature in Lubuntu 12.04
At first in previous versions of Lubuntu I needed to install GDM for e.g. to have this feature enabled.
I have seen other distros for e.g. Bodhilinux or LinuxMint where they have this option by default.
Hopefully the developers would like to take this in consideration for the users that would not like to login at anytime when starting up their computer.
