Fwd: QA Weekly Meetings and UDS

Hi folks!

You were all expecting a few weeks off :P Have a read through what they are
going to cover & feel more than free to contribute either in person, by
remote attendance or by commiting your ideas / views / experiences to
email. The Lubuntu-QA team 'came of age' with 12.04, let's see what ideas
we can come up with to make the testing of 12.10 even better than we did in
12.04.

One of the areas I'm really insterested in is expanding the 'test-cases'
for Lubuntu specific applications to be there on the tracker, so we do more
than "Does it install"?

During the dailies seasons, I'd also like to see a weekly report from the
iso-tracker each week when they re-set what has and has not been tested
along with the results. We can then see which tests have been carried out
multiple times and passed (and can be eased off on), so as to encourage
testing of the ones where we are thin on number of tests carried out (or
are failing). Your views on this idea are, as ever, welcome.

Regards,

Phill.

Due to UDS and openweek the meeting for today and next week, May 9th is
cancelled. So our next meeting will be Wednesday May 16th. Rather than
meeting, I would like to invite everyone to participate in the QA UDS
sessions. We need everyone's feedback to help us plan our work for next
cycle. We as a community have some wonderful goals and ideas to talk
through.

You can see the overall schedule for UDS here:

http://summit.ubuntu.com/uds-q/

The specific QA track is outline here:
http://summit.ubuntu.com/uds-q/track/qa/

All the times listed are in PDT. If you would like to attend a session, but
are unable due to a timezone issue, please let me know. I may be able to
help change the session to a more convenient time. If your physically in or
near Oakland at can attend the session/UDS in person, please do! Thanks
everyone!

Nicholas
