Public bug reported:

I`ve been trying for weeks to get media players to work in lubuntu 12.04
powerpc iso. The default gnome mplayer - gecko setup works for regular
32 bit lubuntu, but not the powerpc version. I have an iBook G4 with
512MB RAM, 1.42GHz cpu and it does not stream sites it really should be
able to. I`ve spent hours on irc getting expert help, but no solution
found. I hope very much there is a developer and tester on the lubuntu
team that still care about powerpc builds. My ibook G4 is still very
nice to work on, and works with everything except for media players in
browser.

ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04
Package: gecko-mediaplayer 1.0.4-2ubuntu1
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-26.41-powerpc-smp 3.2.19

ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu8
Architecture: powerpc
Date: Tue Jul 17 20:03:09 2012
InstallationMedia: Lubuntu 12.04 "Precise Pangolin" - Release powerpc
(20120423)
ProcEnviron:
 PATH=(custom, no user)
 LANG=en_US.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: gecko-mediaplayer
UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)

** Affects: gecko-mediaplayer (Ubuntu)
