   give us an update of what is happening? I love BBQ ribs like the next
   person, but I have community teams asking WTF is going on. To them, I have

   just a proposal, nothing is confirmed or cast in stone - there is a lot of
   discussion that needs to happen before we make any potential changes along

   have been squealing with the "lets's make some breaking news".. As a
   tester, and a Team Leader of testers... May I suggest that when the
   un-official news channels are blazing with FUDD, and there is no 'official'
   news coming out, that people who care start to feel like mushrooms... fed
   bull-shit and kept in the dark.

   don't understand what you mean by "let's make some breaking news". It is
   pretty simple: an idea for a release management change was proposed to
   ubuntu-devel, and now we need to have a detailed, focused, and
   comprehensive discussion about whether it makes sense. These kinds of
   big changes take time to discuss and get right. If people are chomping at
   the bit for an answer, they are just going to need to wait a little until
   we reach a conclusion...this happens with every large proposed change in
   our community.

   one...last...time - no decision has been made yet because the discussion
   has not finished yet, we are just at the beginning. You continually keep
   asking the same question and I keep giving you the same answer...wait

   UDS session does hold a lot of sway for news when the teams are discussing.
   It is for such a simple thing that all the uncertainty is following. Please

   have the faintest idea as to how things for release are going to happen?

   testing side to have things done. People will just walk away if they feel
   their work is is in vain. I'm sorry to nag, but I spent a lot of time
