Did that, was not fully installed. Did install & restart of Lubuntu.
Now
gksudo synaptic
still do not open synaptic, iyt ask for password, then wait some
seconds, so returns, but WITHOUT showing the synaptic window at all!,
and now there is NO printed output in the terminal at all!  When
choosing synaptic from the menu, I still see its window opening, and
then closing fast.
