Hi,
I am not sure whether or not Lubuntu does stick to the Lxde philosophy regarding a suite
of tools which can be used together or independently?
I think having at least in the repositories a user interface which works would be nice :
in an Openbox (almost standalone) in 12.04, lxkeymap does not work, it changes the
setup but just for the session and does not keep it after. (I didn't retry it since a few
months though)
I tweaked a little desktop file with a long command line in it for this purpose:
*********
Exec=gksu "xterm -maximized -e 'dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration'"
*********
http://meets.free.fr/Downloads/BentoVillageProject/Configurations/System/usr/share/applications/keyboard-configuration.desktop
Does "lxkb-config" work well? Is it easy to use?
Regards,
Mélodie
