Re: help.ubuntu.com

Aloha everyone,

First of all, Ali this is to correct you: icons can and are used on the
wiki. If you look at my personal page [
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MrChrisDruif] you'll notice I actually like
big flashy icons(!). The only problem is
that the icons themselves can't be clicked, but that isn't a big issue.

On the point of "guidelines" I haven't got an answer right now because I
received an post from the ubuntu-doc mailing-list which mentions something
about guidelines. So I'll respond to that post and hope to have an answer
on that asap!

On reasoning why the Lubuntu wiki is as it is right now is this:
I didn't join Lubuntu from the start (even if it seems like that to some)
and the ones before me didn't always make the right decisions. So when I
joined about a year ago the mess was pretty much the same as it is now. It
has become gradually better along the way, but not much because of personal
issues in the past year. I needed to find both time and, much more crucial,
motivation! So when I had both I accomplished much, but those times were
rare! Take for example the big move from the duplicate stuff on the wiki
pages which I did in one night.
