Hello,

I'm having a design session with Sebastien Beau, about the development
of the connector. We will report back here at the end of the session
(tomorrow evening, but maybe the mail will be send on the next day).

We intend to plan some refactoring on the 6.1 branch of the connector
and its dependencies to fix some issues which have slipped in :-)

The first thing we decided was to change the way the branches are named,
as there seem to be some confusion on that level, caused by the mix of
branch names comming from the OpenERP branch names. To solve this, we
chose to name the branches as oerpX.Y-focus :

* oerpX.Y tells the version of OpenERP which is targeted by the branch
* focus can be 'trunk' for the development version, or 'stable' for a
stable version which it should be possible to use in production.

So for the magentoerpconnect project:

*  lp:magentoerpconnect/openerp6.1-module becomes
lp:magentoerpconnect/oerp6.1-stable
*  lp:magentoerpconnect/openerp6.1-legacy-module becomes
lp:magentoerpconnect/oerp6.1-oldstable
*  lp:magentoerpconnect/trunk becomes lp:magentoerpconnect/oerp6.1-trunk
* older branches were renamed in similar fashions
* there is no version for the future openerp 7 yet

We chose to keep both stable and oldstable because Camptocamp uses
oldstable in production for its customers and Akretion uses stable, so
we needed  both branches for bug fixing.

Similar renaming was performed on product-extra-addons and
e-commerce-addons.


lp:magentoerpconnect/oerp6.1-stable depends on
lp:product-extra-addons/oerp6.1-stable and
lp:e-commerce-addons/oerp6.1-stable. It is the same thing for xxx-trunk.

The Magento module :

* lp:magentoerpconnect/magento-module is renamed
lp:magentoerpconnect/magento-module-stable, and
lp:magentoerpconnect/magento-module-trunk is merged into  that branch.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We strongly believe that the resulting
state will be felt as an improvement when trying to deploy de connector.

Please complain on the list if you discover that we have broken something.
