Let's just add some validation to the edit profile form before 1.3.

If it becomes a big problem we can open a new bug to deal with existing
long names later.  (We could write an upgrade to truncate the existing
ones in the db and/or truncate them with the str_shorten_text function
in the places they're displayed.)

Bug description:
A student of Richard Jones created an overly long display names with hundreds of characters (see http://mahara.org/interaction/forum/topic.php?id=2142 for a screenshot).

The display name should be limited to a reasonable (30-50?) amount of characters.
