I don't think we should force users to fill in all the form fields as
not everybody needs them. If I click "Save", nothing really happens and
I see the form again. That is standard form behavior unless you force
the filling in of a form.
I don't think there's anything to fix. Could you please elaborate a bit
more why you think there should be hints that users haven't provided any
optional data, Charlie?

Bug description:
Hey guys going through 1.6 retest properly now that I have more time
on my hands. I am doing some functionality and we saw that a user can
save a resume without populating any of the resume fields.
Yes it is up to the user to add some text for their resume but there
should be some sort of validation when fields are omitted. Please see
the attached screen shot
