One thing to check is, if you are using DHCP to obtain your IP, then
check that DHCP server may also be assigning a "broadcast" IP (see
picture)



So as you can see here in my case, my desktop IP is 192.168.0.2 but my
UDP broadcast port is 192.168.0.255 so for a remote client to see the
UDP packets from Me TV they will need to point to the specific
"broadcast" port if one is being specified.
