[Bug 485497] [NEW] googleearth is not default app when opening KML/KMZ files with a webbrowser

Public bug reported:

After installing Google Earth from medibuntu, I expected firefox (or any
other webbrowser) to open KML/KMZ urls using the just-installed
googleearth application.

Example: On
http://www.google.com/gadgets/directory?synd=earth&cat=featured&preview
There are many links to KML/KMZ files. Click on one of them should open googleearth, but it does not.

For your information: Mime types for KML and KMZ files are
"application/vnd.google-earth.kml+xml" and "application/vnd.google-
earth.kmz" respectively.
