Our aim for the multitouch and gesture work is to have the underlying
support installed by default in the 10.10 environment. The bare minimum
needed to make this happen is to promote mtdev and utouch-grail to main
from universe, although we hope to get all utouch-* packages into main
by 10.10. However, getting mtdev and utouch-grail into main is a
dependency of some other work we need to get to.

I was told that you're handling MIR requests right now. Would you be
able to take a look at the following MIR requests soon?

Just FYI, we're working on removing a non-main dependency for
utouch-geis, which is a dependency of the utouch meta package. When they
are ready for MIR review I'll send out another note.
