Binary package hint: mythtv

I don't know what I'm doing, other than trying to get mythtv to actually
work. been uninstalling, installing, seem to be unable to start over,
somehow it can't connect to database. May just reinstall ubuntu to start
from scratch.

I changed the ip from dhcp to static, and then mythtv started getting
weird. It worked initially, then after rebooting it couldn't connect to
db. this happened 2 times.

I want to get back to vanilla, just leave everything at defaults.
connect backend as 127.0.0.1 and not change to actual ip for advanced
usage, because I don't know enough to change other settings.....
