Public bug reported:

One of my Myth frontend boxes contains a Nvidia GeForce4 MX 440 card
that requires the 96.43.xx legacy drivers.

An online update failed (video scrambled)  so I downloaded the ISO and
burnt an install CD.

The install seemed to go well. I selected the Nvidia driver for TV out
(composite video and PAL B).

On completion, the box started with no display apart from the PC splash
screen at the beginning.

I used safe mode to get a command prompt where I found that no nvidia
drivers were installed.

I fixed the problem by ssh into the box from another machine, running
the graphical control centre and installing the drivers from there.

It seems there's a bug in the installer that doesn't recognise legacy
nvidia cards and install the correct drivers.
