[Bug 967152] [NEW] MyUnity constantly writes to disk

Public bug reported:

For as long as MyUnity is running it causes constant writes to disk.
System Load Indicator reports about 250 kB/s and iotop reports about 15
K/s from a process with the command gconfd-2. It looks as though MyUnity
doesn't store the configuration upon actual changes made by the user but
rather periodically, regardless of whether the user changed anything.

Ubuntu version: 11.10
MyUnity version: 3.0.0-0ubuntu1~oneiric1

** Affects: myunity (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
