So much work has gone into thelinks page

all think there might be room for it on the banner, say, at the extreme
right after XYZ?

  Sure, that could work.
I think it would be too cramped
I agree. It won't fit correctly there.
Perhaps if after a space following NewDocs/Contributing it could read -
A Page of Helpful and interesting Links "Helpful Links"
The NewDocs/Contributing page would as a result have one less link.

I think that a good solution, both aesthetically and in terms of the
context, would be to add it after the present string in the Most popular
pages.
Something like this:
Most popular pages

This page and the sibling pages serve as an alphabetical list of the most
popular Ubuntu Community Help Wiki pages. To get to a particular letter,
use the links above.

(a space to insert between the strings)

In addition there's also the Helpful
Links<https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Links>
page. A Page of Interesting and Helpful Links!

If Leigh and Svetlana are in agreement would you do the changes David?
Of course I will. I'm just trying to get up-to date with the accumulated
unanswered newdocs' mails. :P

Off topic - I'm still up - I feel there is a chance I may have appendicitis

and I'm not happy about it at all. (I hope I haven't got it)!
That's terrible. I really hope that in the end it's just a false alarm ans
nothing so serious as an appendicitis.
I wish you get well soon.

David

Thanks David - I am sore but still happy - not much point being too down about it if it is.
Cheers,
Geoff.
