Public bug reported:

I try to start the current simple backup config tool and it always crashes with the following exception:
"invalid literal for int() with base 10: ''"
The same applies to the backup daemon.

Since my upgrade from lucid to maverick my laptop data couldn't do any backups.
I'm running Kubuntu 10.10 on a 32bit-machine.
