Thanks for your response. You've already posted your config file - my bad (I've not looked careful enough I guess).
The problem stems from following line (excerpt from your config):
target = ssh://user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/home/user/backup/
Exactly, this is errorneous: utoronto.ca:/
You append a colon to your host name without giving a port number. Just
remove the colon or specify a port. This should solve your problem.
Anyway, I'll keep this bug report open as such errors should get handled
in a more sane way.
