Anyway, downloading from launchpad will need you to use bazaar

http://help.openerp.com/question/1296/how-to-checkoutbranch-bazaar-banches-of-openerp/

or if you just want to download one specific module you can go through
https://www.openerp.com/apps?series=7.0 and browse the apps and download it
from the app page.

You should also read the doc, sometimes it could be helpful ;)
